History
RICKEY DALE CRAIN STARTED LIFTING AT THE AGE OF 2. HIS FATHER DONALD NEIL CRAIN INTORDUCED HIM VERY YOUNG TO THE SPORT BECAUSE OF HIS OWN LOVE FOR IT AND KNOWING GREAT THINGS WOULD COME. RICKEY DALE CRAIN SOON REALIZED HE HAD A TALENT FOR POWERLIFTING, WHILE AT THE AGE OF 10 HITTING TRIPLE BODYWEIGHT DEADLIFT, 200 AT THE AGE OF 13 AND 400 BEFORE HE TURNED 17 - AS A 132 POUNDER. IN 1976, AT THE AGE OF 23, HE WAS THE FIRST MIDDLEWEIGHT (165 LB) IN HISTORY TO SQUAT 700. THROUGHOUT HIS YEARS HE HAS BEEN FORTUNATE TO BREAK WELL OVER 100 STATE, NATIONAL, INTERNATIONAL, AND WORLD RECORDS. AS A FATHER HE DISTILLED DISCIPLINE IN HIS CHILDREN THROUGH THE SAME SPORT HE GREW UP IN AND THROUGH IS BELIEF IN JESUS CHRIST, OUR ONE AND ONLY SAVIOR. THROUGH THE YEARS OF EACH AND EVERY CRAIN THAT HAS COME AND GONE ONE THING WILL RESONATE THROUGH THEM THROUGHOUT THEIR LIVES, AND THAT IS POWERLIFTING!
